We have nearly a hundred thousand square meters of eco-friendly Korean (Geumgang) wheat. We harvest Korean wheat to make Jeonju’s Celebrated Breads and operate a store called Jeonju Bread Cafe. Jeonju eco-friendly agricultural complex has rich soil nourished from the Mankyeong River. River snails help to grow rice and wheat grows in the winter. We wanted to let the citizens know that there is a golden wheat field in Jeonju, too, which is why we have a sowing ritual every year and a wheat barley treading event as well. The wheat from Cheonnyeon Nuri farm is ground into whole wheat flour. It is ground on demand and made into sixteen naturally fermented local specialty breads with probiotics including Jeonju Bibim Bread, Jeonju Tteokgalbi Bread, Jeonju Chocolate Pies, and more.
